Walk | A bushwalk of any kind short or long(Fully Booked) Ahearn's lookout is found by following the beginning of Starlight's Track.  Take a left fork leading to Rocky Waterholes Lookout and just past this junction look for a right turn which meanders along the ridge to Ahearn's lookout.  This gives views over the Nattai with Mt Jellore easily identified.  Return by the same route. #210 Hazards: Rough track, fallen trees and unfenced cliffs.

Camp | An activity that involves an overnight stay, usually in a tent.Walk | A bushwalk of any kind short or long(Cancelled) Quite simply this is my favourite campsite in the entire Gardens of Stone NP as it is situated in an area of extreme beauty as well as having the advantage of a spectacular and pristine canyon nearby which gives us pure water and seemingly endless pagodas to explore, photograph and enjoy. The sunrises and sunsets from here have to be seen to be believed with wonderful views of Pantoneys Crown, Baal Bone ridge and far beyond. This will be a weekend to submerge yourself in the realm of the senses, relax with friends and emerge refreshed and energized! Rock scrambling.

We finish at Rydalmere. There is a total climb of 99 metres and a descent of 191 metres, so it is mainly downhill. We are walking through the land of the Wallumedda clan of the Darug people. A fairly easy walk to get you into the swing of things again with a coffee shop that may be open, at our morning tea stop. Uneven ground. Creek crossings.

Expect abundant wildflowers. Walks up to 17k, with up to 750m elevation gain, steep sections, and stairs. Leader will book group camping site for the Warrumbungles 4-8 October. Non-campers will need to book own accommodation. All can book own accommodation for Mt Kaputar 8-11 October. Cabins and campsites are available at Dawson Spring. Limit: 12. View
