Walk | A bushwalk of any kind short or longBooking opens 2 weeks prior to event.  The track leads off to the south from the Bell's Line of Road between Mount Tomah and the Mount Wilson turn-off, and there is a sign indicating Mount Banks. You can park at the end of the road. Walk out to the lookout and return over the top. This is a lovely walk and not too difficult. There are superb views of the Grose Valley at the lookout and wonderful northern views as you come down off Mount Banks. There are many wildflowers at this time of the year. We'll visit Mount Tomah to see the beautiful waratahs and proteas on the way home. View

Hazards include creek crossings and exposed sections of track over rock.

A new moon will give us a dark sky in the evening and millions of stars. A wonderful experience to see the landscape at sunrise and sunset! This is a lovely trip with an unforgettable view from the campsite.

Walk | A bushwalk of any kind short or long60 Best walks | This is one of the NPA's 60 best walks.Family | A trip that is planned to cater for children and their parents.(Postponed) This is a walk all on tracks that will take us to numerous lookouts, waterfalls and places of interest, including the stunning Leura Forest and finishing near the Scenic Railway terminus. However, if the Golden Stairs have reopened by this date I'm planning on walking all the way to the Narrowneck and then Cliff Drive, an optional 5km. Lots of steps.

This walk is one of the most pleasant ones in kuringai NP with great views over the water & from ridge at Berowra. On the way home to Wahroonga there are grand old houses & lovely gardens with spring blooms.       Steep and slippery sections. View

After skirting behind some houses it joins the fire trail which heads steeply down to Ku-Ring-Gai Creek, then climbs up on bush tracks to the Ku-ring-gai Wildflower Garden. Hazards: Creek crossings, slippery when wet, steep bush tracks.

This walk takes you to a less visited part of Brisbane Waters National Park to the spectacular Pindar Cave, with an option to continue to a waterfall, before returning the same way. It starts with a steep climb from Wondabyne station, then follows tracks which are eroded in places, muddy and slippery, with short rock scrambles. Wildflowers should be abundant; hopefully the orchids will still be in flower. Hazards: eroded track, muddy and slippery sections, short rock scrambles.

Walk | A bushwalk of any kind short or longFrom Bells Line Of Road we follow Jinki Ridge before descending to Jungaburra Brook which is crossed a few times before ascending to Jungaburra Ridge followed by Kamarah Ridge and then returning to Bells Line Of Road. This is a spectacular area containing pagodas, gullies, cliffs and fabulous views of the Grose Gorge. Tracks, off-track, ascent of a 5m rockface using climbers fixed steel rungs and fixed rope, scrambling and creek crossings. Off-track slip and trip hazards, slight chance of wet feet on creek crossings. Must be agile enough to climb the fixed steel rungs on a rockface. Snakes will be out and about.
