We visit Gumnut for coffee and pastries on arrival. Cherry Tree Walk is a beautiful walk in Bowral. It consists of a walking/bike track beside the Mittagong Rivulet and 526 cherry trees that have been planted, dedicated to each and every soldier who died during the Vietnam War. The walk is particularly attractive in spring when the cherry trees are in flower. Incorporated into the design of the War Memorial has been a monument, inscribed with the names of the Australians who gave their lives in the service of their country.
Then we continue to the Southern Highlands Botanical Garden.
Expect a very long day.
