Walk | A bushwalk of any kind short or long(Postponed) Towering above the Wolgan Valley is the impressive Koopartoo Point and on this walk we will access it via a ramp and then a bench that follows the clifflines along to Koopartoo Ravine. Needless to say the views from the top are incredible with Donkey Mountain and many of the local peaks clearly in sight. Rock scrambling and off-track walking.

Glenbrook to Emu Plains. It is uphill to Knapsack Park. Morning tea will be at the convict built Lennox Bridge (1833). From there we visit Marges Lookout with views to Penrith Lakes, before taking a rough steep track down to the old highway. We walk up this to cross the Knapsack Viaduct, another stone bridge (1865). More rough tracks before concrete paths take us across the Nepean River twice and on to Emu Plains Station. We should have photos of 10 bridges at the end. Steep and slippery sections. View

Mostly on well formed paths through reserves and quiet streets. Steps, ups and downs, some unformed and uneven surfaces which could be slippery and muddy after rain. Walking poles might assist. It feels longer than 8km. From the valley we climb over 300m in 2km.

The highlights and sights along the way include Lennox Bridge, The Gatekeepers Cottage, John Whitton Memorial, The Great River walk, Mount Sion Park, Marges Lookout. The Lennox Bridge is a heritage-listed road bridge at Mitchells Pass. It is the oldest stone arch bridge on the Australian mainland.     Steep and slippery sections. The walking circuit is accessed from the Metro Station via tracks through the Castle Hill Showground and Fred Caterson Reserve. The walk is a mixure of pave tracks, bush tracks, fire trails and streets. Track could be rough and slippery in parts. Limit: 15. View
