(Fully Booked) Mugii Murum Ban has so many attractions its hard to single out a particular one but I think this is definitely in the top ten, as this walk has superlative views, lots of rock scrambling, amazing slots and myriad places of interest to excite the intrepid bushwalker! From Artarmon Station this circuit uses bush tracks, bicycle paths and roads. It passes through reserves and bushland in Willoughby and Northbridge, descending to Tunks Park, then climbs out to Cammeray and returns via Naremburn to Artarmon. Park at GR 776 963 on Mountain Lagoon Road and descend into Timbergetters Ravine. Walk down this rainforest-clad watercourse up to a tributary at GR 771 979. Ascend through the cliff line to the beautiful Boulder Glade, then continue up towards spot height 538. Descend into a gully to the south east, walk through its canyon-like section, then climb out on the other side and walk back to Mountain Lagoon Road. About 6 km. Scrambling and exposure. Its about time I went back to Goochs crater and explore some of the surrounding pagodas, slots and of course the magnificent crater itself which is impressive from any angle. I'm sure you won't be disappointed! This walk is in place of my trip to Carne creek which was cancelled due to the Glowworm Road being now closed until further notice as it is currently being repaired. (Postponed) Above Carne Creek are a series of spectacular caves, Weather, Rain, Gemini, Micheangelo and Twin Arch to name a few, and they are all worth visiting. Below these via the aptly named Miracle Slot are outcrops of superb pagodas, the Pyramid Rocks also worth exploring. This isn't a long trip distance wise but it will excite and delight you! (Date Changed) Booking open 11 June 2022.  Cheltenham Railway Station to Epping Railway Station via the Lane Cove National Park. Follow the fire trail along Devlins Creek passing Whale Rock before coming to the junction with the Great North Walk (GNW). We will continue along the GNW to Browns Water Hole and the turnoff to the Terrys Creek Track. Once on this track we will navigate our way to the falls. Depending on the water level in the creek, we will cross the creek and proceed to Epping Station. Booking essential giving mobile, emergency and NPA numbers. Rough and slippery track in a few spots. Morning tea and opportunity to look around, walk to lookout etc. Then drive back to Lawsons Long Alley. Walk down Lawsons Long Alley, Hartley Vale Road, then up Lockyers Trail back to cars. Views, rocky outcrops. Steep, VERY muddy area guaranteed to get feet wet. Limit: 15. View

(Cancelled) Track closed until further notice. This year the winter solstice falls on a Tuesday so we plan to combine our breakfast winter solstice event from the Boxvale Track. Return to the car park to offload unwanted bits and then do the 40' Falls Track to make a day of it. Bring hot soup and camera. As this is a two part event walkers can opt to do either or both parts. We expect to return to the cars for the 40' falls leg at around 9:30. Hazards: For Tunnel: Uneven track, dark tunnel (bring torch).
