(Leader Changed) Walk through the locked gate at the entrance to Budderoo National Park and follow the Hindmarch Pass Track until reaching an unmarked track to the left which leads to Les Lambert Lookout. This provides a lovely lunch place among the rocks with wonderful views into Upper Kangaroo Valley. Rough track, fallen trees, unfenced cliffs and steep ascent/descent. A classic walk with lots of variety and fabulous views. Starting at Wentworth Falls Station follow roads and paths to Conservation Hut. Descend and cross Lillians Bridge then ascend to skirt around the Fairmont Resort. Follow Sublime Point Road and locate good tracks to Gordon Falls, Leura Cascades and Leura Forest. Follow the Federal Pass to Furbers Steps and ascend to Katoomba Station. Lots of steps and ups and downs on this walk. Will alter exit point if Furbers steps are still closed. Multiple cliff edges, slippery loose surfaces. Strict limits apply, book early. Location: Blue Mountains NP View

Walk down Victory Track to where a gully was partially explored on our last visit by some members of the group. More time is allowed to explore the gully. Return to Victory Track and take probably Magdala Creek up to Springwood. Some rock scrambling. Some off-track. Slippery rocks. Small creek crossings. Leeches maybe. Park one car at GR 419 130 off Glowworm Tunnel Road and another car at GR 415 150. From the second car, take an old fire trail north west, then descend the Long Zig Zag Pass. Continue south east underneath the cliff line, visit the incredible Flying Carpet and then Koan Cave. Move generally south under the cliffs until the Koan Pass. Re-connect with the cars. Find out why this part of the Gardens of Stone region must be protected for future generations. After placing vehicles at each end of the walk, leave from near Wolgan Gap Trig, climb to the top of the cliff line, then follow the ins and outs of the cliff line for about 7km. Stunning views. Gibbergunyah Nature Reserve is between Bowral and Mittagong. The walk takes in views of Mt Gibraltar (highest point between Sydney and Canberra), Ninety Acre Hill Lookout and a track which winds through a beautiful fern gully. The track is sometimes overgrown and difficult to locate. Rough track, steep sections, slippery rocks and unfenced cliff edges. Map: Mittagong 89292S Limit: 20. View
