(NEW!!!) Moderate pace. Walk around the Australian Botanic Garden Mount Annan. For those who are not familiar with this garden, please refer to www.australianbotanicgarden.com.au. Lots of ups and downs, steps, mostly on well formed sealed paths, some unsealed and unformed paths which may be slippery and muddy following rain. A walking pole may assist. This day just happens to be Sydney Science Trail Community Saturday, details of which are on the website, so probably more families than usual. There are free tours available (First Nations Bush Foods, Australian Plant Bank, National Herbarium), which require bookings. I’ve made inquiries on whether vacancies are still available on these tours and whether our group could be included, no reply yet, hopefully more information soon. If we are not able to be accommodated on tours or if some walkers would prefer to walk around the less crowded upper perimeters of the park, this option will be available. If you are interested, please send me an email and I’ll pass on more information when it becomes available to me. Limit will depend on availability of tours.

(Fully Booked - Ask leader about waiting list) Rising majestically from the Capertee Valley, Pantoneys Crown is impressive mesa from any angle and the view from the top is never less than spectacular. The walk involves access through private property and a climb up through woodland, before a steep ridge with some tape assisted rock scrambling for good measure!
This walk is undoubtedly my favourite in the Blue Mountains region and not to be missed. Rock scrambling and off-track walking. Location: Gardens of Stone NP Map: Ben Bullen 89314S Limit: 14.
