|(Nearly fully booked) As part of Parramatta to Shoalhaven Heads walks series, we will walk from Minnamurra to Kiama on the 'Kiama Coast Walk' - part of the Great South Coast Walk (http://greatsouthcoastwalk.net/) a long-distance walking route along the southern coastline of New South Wales, from Bundeena on the southern fringe of Sydney, to Mallacoota, just over the border in Victoria, 660km in total. This section takes us via the spectacular Minnamurra river entrance then headlands, beaches and rock platforms to Kiama harbour and Blowhole. Steep and slippery sections. Limit: 12. View|

|(NEW!!!) Starting from near Fairmont Hotel, walk along Grand Cliff Top Track, Inspiration Point Track and Roberts Pass to Lindeman Pass Track and exit via Federal Pass and Fern Bower to Prince Henry Cliff Drive. Car shuttle required. Steep, slippery and muddy sections, landslides, and creek crossings.

|Starting point is 8.9km along Tableland Rd. Out and back to Lions Head. Also have a look at the track at the large cairn for future walk. Rough track. Exploritory section down from cairn looks steep.

|Park on Bowens Hill Trail near spot height 716. Descend south towards Blacksmiths Creek, then follow it as far as it keeps our interest, perhaps till GR 712 959. Exit up the spur back to the trail and the cars. Exploratory. About 8 km. Scrambling and exposure.

|31 Jul, Sat 10:10AM||Neighbourhood walk 26: Narrabeen|
|Leader will be Sue Atteridge. Today we walk CALEYI TRAIL , Deep Creek Valley Trail and continue along the Narrabeen lagoon to the Tramshed. CALEYI TRAIL is named after Caley’s Grevillea, a medium to tall shrub that is only found in an 8km square area that includes Belrose, Ingleside and Terrey Hills/Duffys Forest). As we are now closer to spring, expect to see wildflowers, grass trees, ferns and eucalypts. There is a wide rock platform and some interesting sandstone formations. There are some nice views over the GARIGAL NATIONAL PARK. Near the trail are carvings of two kangaroos, one of which has a spear in its back (described by WD Campbell). Where the track meets Deep Creek, the creek cascades over the rocks and drops into a small pool below. Steep and slippery sections, some parts a bit rugged, creek crossing

|Find out why this part of the Gardens of Stone region must be protected for future generations. Park the cars at GR 263 186 on Moffitts Trail. Walk to about GR 276 193 and climb north to explore several pagoda ridges, before crossing into Gardens of Stone NP to visit Palatine Rock and Tarpeian Rock with their spectacular views. Then on to the amazing Pagoda Maze, best part of which is located in the State Forest and is therefore unprotected. About 10 km. Scrambling and exposure.

|Walk footpath and fire trail to the Three Brothers. Visit the place where a flying fox was used to bring produce up from Megalong Valley. Then follow the old Glen Rosa Track. Very rough old track. At some sections, exposure may be felt. Scrambling and wet sections encountered.

|Walk from Springwood station to Blaxland Station, on Magdala Gully Track to Perch Ponds, along Glenbrook Creek on the Victory Track, after crossing the creek along the Kings Link Track, Bunyan Lookout track, The Bullants Track, Florabela Pass and Pippa's Pass to Blaxland Station. Possible side trip to Lost World. Moderate pace. Please contact leader via email to register.

|Park at GR 415 150 on Glowworm Tunnel Road. Walk north east, initially on the old firetrail to spot heights 1004 and 1002. Turn north, then east and make our way to the cliff edge at about GR 397 160. From here, commence exploration of this dissected terrain going south. There is much to see and do before we reach the point GR 410 144 above the Flying Carpet. This is likely to be two walks. About 8 km. Exploratory. Scrambling and exposure.

|Leader will be Brad Sichter. Today we explore Hornsby and Normanhurst including Lisgar Gardens. Lisgar Gardens is a wonderful, secret garden hidden in the back streets of Hornsby. Spread across 6 acres, the garden packs a lot in with a little bit of something for everyone. This walk will be easier than my Neighbourhood Walk with less steep climbs. There are sixty Camellia Gardens of Excellence in the world, with the Camellia Gardens and Lisgar Gardens in Hornsby being the only two in NSW. Stairs and slippery sections.

|After walking the foreshores for a few hours we will then visit the Australian Maritime Museum to enjoy the Wildlife Photographer of the Year exhibition. Join us there for lunch before then spending the afternoon looking at some of the other maritime exhibits!

|The Boxvale Track follows the formation of a historic railway line which makes its way through cuttings, along embankments and through a 84-metre long tunnel on the way to a fabulous lookout above the Nattai River. We will also follow the 40 Foot Track down to the river on the return leg and then back over Mt Alexandra to the finish. Track steep in places.

Today walk via headlands and beaches on part of the Great South Coast Walk (http://greatsouthcoastwalk.net/) a long-distance walking route along the southern coastline of New South Wales, from Bundeena on the southern fringe of Sydney, to Mallacoota, just over the border in Victoria, 660km in total. Spend the late afternoon exploring Gerroa.

|(Fully Booked - Ask leader about waiting list) As part of Parramatta to Shoalhaven Heads walks series, we will walk from Gerroa to Shoalhaven Heads after staying Saturday night. Today walk via beach and bush on part of the Great South Coast Walk (http://greatsouthcoastwalk.net/) a long-distance walking route along the southern coastline of New South Wales, from Bundeena on the southern fringe of Sydney, to Mallacoota, just over the border in Victoria, 660km in total. With low tide Seven Mile Beach is a very easy, very nice walk on hard sand.

|(Fully Booked) Leader: Bob Rankin. This is an extra day walk to follow the last leg of the Parramatta to Shoalhavens series. As we are staying overnight on Saturday 7th Aug to walk the Seven Miles Beach, we will stay another night to do another day of two short walks: The Drawing Room Rocks near Berry and Bomaderry Creek near Nowra. Great views of the NSW south coast. Looking out over Berry, 7 mile beach and Jervis Bay & on a clear day can see pigeon house mountain & the lighthouse at point perpendicular. The climb to the plateau is challenging. Rocky terrain, steep and slippery sections Limit: 10. View|
|9 Aug, Mon 8:25AM||Duck Hole to Sand Hole|
|Walk to Station St and descend to Duck Hole. Cross over Glenbrook Creek beyond Kanuka Brook and make way down to the Sand Hole. Exit here and follow trail back to Station St and on to Glenbrook. Cross Glenbrook Creek a couple of times. Steep but interesting climb up from Sand Hole. Walking beside Glenbrook Creek is rough going at times.
