Many steps and some rocky sections on tracks which have been somewhat eroded with recent rain.

Day 1: Park at Benjang Gap, GR 300 930. Walk to Lee Creek and then upstream to GR 328 904. Take water for the day (or carry from home). Climb to Lost Chord Crater, continue to Lost Chord Saddle, then climb south-west on Tal Tal Ridge to about GR 339 890. Descend into a tributary of Lee Creek at about GR 330 884. Take water for high camp and next morning, climb westwards and camp at around GR 324 885. If time permits, explore high cliffs to the south-east (we may even camp there). About 12 km.
Day 2: Spend the morning exploring Lee Castle immediately to the north-west, then descend into Lee Creek, take water for the high camp and the next day and climb to Labyrinth Saddle (eastern end) at GR 315 903. Then climb Labyrinth Peak, GR 311 901, to camp. About 6 km.
Day 3: Return to the Labyrinth Saddle. Explore around to the north and north-east. If possible, descend into a tributary of Lee Creek at around GR 316 909; otherwise return to the saddle and use a known descent route to the north. Walk back to the cars. About 8 km. Mostly exploratory. Scrambling and exposure.

Expect superb wild country with the highlights being the rugged Sunnyside Point and the nearby Wolgan Pinnacle, both worth the effort of getting to! Rock scrambling and off-track walking.

Cycle from Wolli Creek Railway Station to Sydney Olympic Park, via Homebush Bay and Cooks River Canal, then Newington Nature Reserve, Parramatta Foreshore return to Wolli Creek Rail. Approx 50 kms. Meet at Wolli Creek Railway Station at 9am for 9:15am start. Finish approx. 3:30 to 4pm. Must book in with leader. Bring picnic morning/afternoon tea and/or lunch or purchase along the way. Must bring spare tube and repair kit. No helmet no go! View

On this trip we will follow Nobles Canyon down past its 2 constrictions to the cliff lines above Carne Creek then explore the cliff lines south of that creek before crossing over a pagoda laden ridge back to the main track. Rock scrambling and off-track.

Park one car on Mountain Lagoon Road at GR 752 941 and another one at GR 759 950. From the first car, walk down into a creek, then make our way towards Flat Rock. After Flat Rock, descend into a gully at around GR 755 952 and follow it downstream, then exit up the gully at GR 750 963 or, if time permits, continue to 753 970. Climb on the ridge and walk to the second car. About 9 km. Partly exploratory. Scrambling and exposure.

We walk from Medlow Bath to Blackheath.  We walk to the Three Brothers, then follow Glen Rosa Track to Blackheath. The route will take us to The Great Blue Mountains Trail, Wonderland Track, Tuckers Lookout, the Sunbath, and waterfalls. This is a gorgeous walk with never-ending views of the Megalong Valley and the Coliseum.  5 creek crossings, narrow, rocky and wet paths. Long sleeve shirts and trousers recommended. Gortex boots an advantage. Walk will be cancelled in severe weather warning, bush fire warning or park closure. Please check your mail box the night before to make sure walk is still on. Steep and slippery sections. No-touch sign-on. Social distancing will be observed. Please bring hand sanitizer. Install Covidsafe app.

Expect to see abundant water birds. It's a picturesque section of the larger walk which will cover 570 km, linking the river's mouth at Broken Bay to its headwaters at Lake Bathurst, south of Goulburn. Council, with the NSW government, has been extending the path along the river banks as it passes through Emu Plains. In future, the walk will be extended towards Penrith Lakes and then on to Windsor, Wisemans Ferry and Berowra. Optional lunch at The O'Donoghues Irish Pub at Emu Plains.
