Canyon | A trip through a canyon (a gully surrounded by tall cliffs).60 Best walks | This is one of the NPA's 60 best walks.(Fully Booked) Twister Canyon is, without a doubt, one of the most fun canyons you can do without needing to abseil as it has multiple pools in which to jump and swim or, in places, scramble down. It isn't very long and usually takes about 3 hours and then runs into Rocky Creek Canyon. I plan to do Rocky Creek and depending on time limits,finish the canyon via the exit track at the end of it! Participants must have the following, helmet, wetsuit, PFD and waterproof pack or inner bag. Hazards: Rock scrambling on slippery rocks.
