Picnic | For a mostly static outdoor activity based around a picnicWalk | A bushwalk of any kind short or longCafe | A trip that involves a relaxed stop at a cafe.First time friendly | A trip that is perfect for most new members (assuming you have a reasonable level of fitness)Public Transport | There are public transport options to and from this activity.Christmas is too far away.  Why don't we have a Christmas in July? It is certainly cold enough to be a Northern Hemisphere Xmas.   Bring some food and drinks to share at the Kokoda picnic shelter. You can even purchase them in Rhodes, without having to prepare them at home.  There is a Woolworths opposite Rhodes station. There is also Coles and other take away food in Rhodes shopping centre and cafes close by. After the Christmas in July picnic lunch, there will be two walks. 1. We will walk the Kokoda Memorial walkway to Olwen's Corner and follow along the river to Rocky Point and Major's Bay then return. 12 km 2. We continue to Cabarita to catch the ferry.  8km   As we can't book the picnic shed, we would like to ask volunteers to go there early to hold all the tables.  Thank you for your help
