On Saturday 19 September we will be meeting at Ascot Drive, Chippington Norton, 8:15am for an 8:30 start. Cycling mostly on quiet roads and bike paths to Canley Vale for coffee, then on bike paths to the M7 cycle way, then to Rooty Hill Pub for lunch (or BYO). Continue to Richmond Road cycle path, then onto Windsor. I have booked a room at the Windsor Hotel, 54 George Street, Windsor. Best to book your accommodation early, after contacting leader. Local Pub for dinner (possibility of a band Saturday night). Sunday 20 September, Windsor Mall Markets from 9am, departing Windsor approx. 10am. ""Picnic lunch"" on the way back. Returning to Chipping Norton between 4 - 5pm. Limited numbers. Approx. 65 kms each way. A social weekend away. View |

(Cancelled) The Provide First Aid course (formerly Apply First Aid or Senior First Aid) has two components: Pre-course learning. The pre-course on-line learning is a compulsory part of the course, and must be completed before you attend the face-to-face day. Theory content can be found on this link. This content will be in the theory assessment on the face-to-face day. A 1 day face-to-face session. The focus of the practical day will be practical skills and assessment and a theory exam. There is no specific teaching of theory content on the face-to-face day – it is assumed all participants will have completed the on-line material. Park cars at Airly Gap, then climb south east, inspecting historic graffiti and Aboriginal art sites along the way. Negotiate a series of pagodas and slots, including Genowlan Pinch, to arrive at the spectacular Airly Frustum. Continue climbing to the point above Airly Turret Slot and the stunning view. Next, visit Mine in the Sky with its historic infrastructure. From here, proceed to explore the bottom of Airly Turret Slot. Reconnect with the vehicles. crambling and exposure.
