(Cancelled) Was fully book, but cancelled last minute due to access closure. Not far from Baal Bone Gap is a very interesting ridge full of fantastic rocky outcrops in the shape of all sort of creatures and objects including possibly the most famous, The Mercury Boot. On this walk we will explore this pagoda rich ridge, photographing anything that takes our attention. Of course, there are brilliant views of the Capertee Valley including the mesa-like Pantoneys Crown to also hold our interest. Lots of rock scrambling and off track walking. From Blaxland Station follow Pippa Pass to cross the Glenbrook Creek. Ascend and follow the Bullant Track to pick up the St Helena Ridge fire trail. Descend to the Duck Hole, cross the creek again and follow tracks and paths to Glenbrook Station. Creek crossings, loose, slippery sections, cliff edges. Unhurried pace.
