Incorporating the soon to be world famous Manly to Bondi Walk, we have planned a series of bi-weekly walks from Barrenjoey to Gerringong. Come join us in this historic & epic adventure. Section 3 walks Manly to Circular Quay : 31km, 680m elevation. 10 out of 21 walkers completed the whole route in 8 hours. This week we walk from Circular Quay to North Bondi, via Rushcutters Bay, Rose Bay, and South Head. This is a walk for everyone. Walk as much or as little as you wish. There are various exit points. Lake Conjola, Narrawelle Inlet, Burrill Lake, Meroo Lake, Lake Tabouri, Termeil Creek, optional 1 day bike ride. Base camp at Lake Tabourie Caravan Park and travelling out each day. Many of the paddles are only short days leaving a lot of time to explore on your own, take your push bike, swim, fish etc. This is an active holiday. Paddlers will need a kayak trolley for 2 of the paddles. Sit in kayaks with rudders only. PFDs compulsory. Limit: 12. View |

Walk across the lagoon to the shorebird sanctuary where many of the birds will now be flocking to prepare for migration to Siberia and Alaska. Some will be in their spectacular breeding colours. Bring binoculars. Then walk south along the beach, sandbar and mangroves to the old coal wharf. Return through the coastal rainforest. Map: Nowra 90283S View |
