After skirting behind some houses it joins the fire trail which heads steeply down to Ku-Ring-Gai Creek, then climbs up on bush tracks to the Ku-ring-gai Wildflower Garden. Hazards: Creek crossings, slippery when wet, steep bush tracks.

This walk takes you to a less visited part of Brisbane Waters National Park to the spectacular Pindar Cave, with an option to continue to a waterfall, before returning the same way. It starts with a steep climb from Wondabyne station, then follows tracks which are eroded in places, muddy and slippery, with short rock scrambles. Wildflowers should be abundant; hopefully the orchids will still be in flower. Hazards: eroded track, muddy and slippery sections, short rock scrambles.

Walk | A bushwalk of any kind short or longFrom Bells Line Of Road we follow Jinki Ridge before descending to Jungaburra Brook which is crossed a few times before ascending to Jungaburra Ridge followed by Kamarah Ridge and then returning to Bells Line Of Road. This is a spectacular area containing pagodas, gullies, cliffs and fabulous views of the Grose Gorge. Tracks, off-track, ascent of a 5m rockface using climbers fixed steel rungs and fixed rope, scrambling and creek crossings. Off-track slip and trip hazards, slight chance of wet feet on creek crossings. Must be agile enough to climb the fixed steel rungs on a rockface. Snakes will be out and about.

Cycle | A cycling tripFully Vaccinated | All participants must be able to show proof they are fully vaccinated against COVID-19 to particpate.Social | A trip where people will be encouraged to interact and chat with each other.This is a Combined Activity with the "Wanderers".  The ride is primarily on shared walkways/cycleways. We start at the car park for Ferry Wharf at Rydalmere. ( John Street). After crossing the Silverwater Bridge , we continue to The Armory and then into Olympic Park and Bicentennial Parks. The exact route through these parks may be varied from discussion with riders, with final decisions by the leader.   The ride is mostly flat but there is the option of including some steeper gradients.   From Rhodes we cross the old railway bridge to Meadowbank and return to Rydalmere on the north side of Parramatta River.   Distance 30 Km approximately. The greatest hazards are other park users: walkers, dogs and other cyclists. There are a few tight spots to be negotiable, so there is always the risk of a spill. There may be slippery sections of pathways. There are a number of road crossings. Traffic can be fast moving.

Through St Columba's school grounds (school holiday). Return options. Infrequent bus from Gahnia Way, possibly at 14:31 or possibly some cars to return you to Springwood Station. All off road except for bus access. Long fire trail. Blue Gum Forest has beautiful trees. Fire trails, rough tracks, steep up hill.

Generally downhill with a total descent of 200m. Car shuffle required. Hazards: Uneven and possibly slippery track in places. Mostly downhill.
