Opened in November 2003, Mt Penang Gardens is considered an enduring and radical contribution to public garden design in Australia. In short you certainly won't be disappointed! Rock scrambling and off-track walking.

Walk down this rainforest-clad watercourse up to a tributary at GR 771 979. Ascend through the cliff line to the beautiful Boulder Glade, then continue up towards spot height 538. Descend into a gully to the south east, walk through its canyon-like section, then climb out on the other side and walk back to Mountain Lagoon Road. About 6 km. Scrambling and exposure. Partly exploratory.

Follow the fire trail along Devlins Creek passing Whale Rock before coming to the junction with the Great North Walk (GNW). We will continue along the GNW to Browns Water Hole and the turnoff to the Terrys Creek Track. Once on this track we will navigate our way to the falls. Depending on the water level in the creek, we will cross the creek and proceed to Epping Station. Booking essential giving mobile, emergency and NPA numbers. Rough and slippery track in a few spots. Creek crossings.
