This is a short summer walk to explore hidden secret gardens. We walk from Lindfield Station and cover part of the Two Creeks Track to The Seven Australians Park and Swain Gardens. Or what is often referred to as Sydney’s Secret Garden. We’ve seen a LOT of gardens in our day. But none even compare to this extravagant, leafy green wilderness, spanning over three hectares. If we had to guess how Alice felt when she fell down the rabbit hole, we’d say that it’s is a pretty similar experience as you walk down the long driveway into what can only be described as a Wonderland. The walk will finish at Kilara Station. View |

24 Feb, Thu 6:30PM | Film – Where The Water Starts | ||||
Illawarra Branch | |||||
Graham B. | |||||
We’re pleased to be able to host a screening of ‘Where the Water Starts’ at the Gala Cinema Warrawong on Thursday February 24 at 6:30pm. This is a beautiful film about Kosciuszko National Park made by Mandy King and Fabio Cavadini. It focuses on the Aboriginal ranger Richard Swain and the cultural significance of the park. It also covers some of the terrible threats: the Black Summer fires, feral horses and lack of proper government care. The filmmakers and possibly one of the people featured in the film will attend the screening to chat with us.
This date may seem a long way off but the arrangement between the distributor and the cinema is that we need to sell 46 seats in advance to secure the screening. The earlier we can do this the better, so please go to the website and buy some tickets. Follow the instructions in the link below to register with Fanforce films first. Tickets are $20 plus a small booking fee.
