Leave a few cars at GR 813 011 on T3 Trail and drive to the near end of Long Ridge Trail, GR 790 996. Walk north west and descend Long Ridge Knife-edge to Tootie Creek via Tootie Arch and Sombrero Hat Cave. Follow Tootie Creek downstream for about 4 km, until Tootie Cascades. Take the ridge to the south east to join with T3 walking track and from there, with the cars. About 9 km. Scrambling and exposure. Partly exploratory.

Cross over Glenbrook Creek beyond Kanuka Brook. There is no track, but we follow Glenbrook Creek down to Blue Pool. Glenbrook Creek is crossed here. Return to Glenbrook Station. Quite a long section of off track. Crossing Glenbrook Creek could involve a small leap. Wet or sandy rocks can be slippery.

Note 420m ascent and descent. Walk feels longer than 8km. Visit Ross Cave, Bede Lookout, Pulpit Rock, Little Zig Zag, Rienits Pass, Wilson Glen and back past Ross Cave. Old track, poorly maintained. In a couple of places, a slip would not be good. Muddy in places.

Possible swim at Olympic pool alone the way, or at Karloo pool before walking back to Heathcote Station via Karloo Track. The section below Olympic pool has multiple creek crossings and the track can be difficult to follow. This walk has been done in the opposite direction before, this way the flat and hot section near Engadine is done in the morning while cooler. Descending to the lowest part of Kangaroo Creek first and then slowly ascending up the creek. Swim to cool off or just dip your feet in before final walk up track to station. Hazards: Creek crossings with slippery rocks.

An easy stroll  from St Peters station through Sydney Park , several other parks, explore South Eveleigh redevelopment taking in little parks and artistic designs, pass by Carriageworks, Locomotive Street and on to Redfern Station. Carriageworks is a multi-arts urban cultural precinct located at the former Eveleigh Railway Workshops in Redfern, Sydney, Australia. Carriageworks showcases contemporary art and performing arts, as well as being used for filming, festivals, fairs and commercial exhibitions. This spectacular circuit takes in some of the most beautiful rainforested river country in NSW, with plenty of pools for swimming when we reach the Kangaroo river at the half way point. Ive graded this a 4 which is to the base of the rough track to the river. However if you want to get to the base of the falls its a 5. So experienced walkers only. Rock scrambling and rock hopping.

Park cars at GR 435 069 and drop down into Camp Creek. Follow it, inspecting overhangs along the way, then scramble above the amazing Devils Throat. Next, descend back into Camp Creek and head east into the gorge and visit the Devils Throat from the bottom. Return via a pass to the south or via East Creek. Scrambling and exposure. About 10km.

Starting at Gore Hill Cemetery the walk descends along Gore Creek, crosses under River Rd (bring a torch) then goes to Woodford Bay, from where it heads up and down to Tambourine Bay and Burns Bay. A combination of well formed tracks, unformed tracks, streets, steps, creek crossings; tunnel can be slippery. Hazards: tunnel, tracks may be slippery if wet.

Spend some time there, then continue to Wheeny Gap, with its magnificent pool and waterfall. Spend sone time there, then, scramble up the spur to the west and climb back to the cars. A half a day adventure. Scrambling, exposure, swimming. About 4 km.

Walk | A bushwalk of any kind short or longFully Vaccinated | All participants must be able to show proof they are fully vaccinated against COVID-19 to particpate.Public Transport | There are public transport options to and from this activity.We will start from Starkey Street in Forestville and a short walk via Cannons Parade to Cook Street Reserve where the walk will start. A short cut will take us to Currie Street Trail and a side trip to the Natural Bridge for those who have not been before. Return to Currie Street Trail, past Bates Creek and continue to Magazine Track then onto Flat Rock Beach where we will have morning tea. Continue along Flat Rock Beach Trail to Davidson Park where we will have lunch after which we return to Ferguson Street via Casuarina and Carroll Creek Tracks where the walk will finish and walkers can get a bus to either Chatswood or City or pick up their car. Please have proof of vaccination status at start of walk. Joint walk with the Bush Club. All participants must be up-to-date with vaccinations (at least 3 jabs) / no medical exemptions allowed. Please indicate your status when booking on the walk and carry proof on the walk. Please contact leader for booking into the walk.
