We do this 50 km in 3 Sundays: 2nd, 16th, 30th June. A completion certificate will be offered to those who complete all the three walks.
Part 1: From Parramatta to Gladesville : We walk along the Parramatta River Water Front, learning the history, seeing the attractions and admiring the views.

"This walk circles East Lindfield, descending beside Gordon Creek to Middle Harbour and continuing along Middle Harbour to Roseville Bridge. Along the way you will see post-war cobbled tracks and stonework, views of mangrove forests, salt marsh and sweeping water vistas and vegetation communities ranging from moist gullies to Sydney sandstone gully bushland." Park at the locked gate on Wheeny Gap North Trail. Walk on trail to GR 772 930, then continue east off track on a spur. Descend into Flat Rock Creek at around GR 781 931. Walk counterclockwise under cliffs all the way to Flat Rock Creek South Falls. Climb above the falls and exit back to the vehicles. Mainly exploratory. About 12 km. Scrambling and exposure. Walk from Marion Light Rail Station at Leichhardt along Hawthorne Canal to Iron Cove. From there we will walk through Lilyfield to the Rozelle Parklands. We can explore this newly opened 10-hectare site before walking to Jubilee Park, Glebe for lunch. After lunch, we will make our way back through the Rozelle Parklands to the newly restored White Bay Power Station, which is hosting this year’s Biennale. The walk will finish here, where people can visit the exhibition (free entry) and then return to the city either by the free shuttle bus or buses on Victoria Rd. (Fully Booked) Mugii Murum-ban is a bushwalker's paradise. Come along and join us to discover all that this area has to offer. Accommodation will be at the Royal Hotel in Capertee, leader will organise a room for you, or you are welcome to use a camper trailer / rooftop tent / caravan etc. These can be parked at the back of the hotel for free, they just expect you to eat / drink at the pub. On Saturday we will do a walk called Airly Frustum and Airly Turret Slot. On Sunday we will do a private tour of the Glen Davis Oil Shale Refinery in the morning and then head back up to the Mount Airly area for a walk to the Ladders Defile along with any other exploring that we fancy while up there. Located in Caringbah and overlooking beautiful Yowie Bay, the Gardens were recognised by the International Camellia Society as a Camellia Gardens of Excellence in 2014. There are sixty Camellia Gardens of Excellence in the world, with the Camellia Gardens and Lisgar Gardens in Hornsby being the only two in NSW.The Gardens have over 400 cultivars and species donated and acquired since its first plantings began in 1969, in addition to many other rare ornamental and native plants. The collection is of unique value to Australian horticulture. The Gardens have something for all seasons. The camellias are in season during autumn and winter. From Koan Cave in the north, we will travel south on the eastern side of Carne Creek, enjoying the panoramic views along the way. We will visit Shovel, Sand and Michelangelos Caves along the way, as well as numerous slots, ramps and some truly amazing stone sculptures such as the Flying Dragon, Koan Chair and many more. The walk follows the Budderoo Fire Trail for 6kms to a locked gate on the right. Through the gate is a relatively unused fire trail which deteriorates to a single track leading to Gerringong Creek. Follow the creek along to the falls. If time permits we will take a short detour to the hidden chimney. Rough track, slippery rocks and unfenced cliff edges. Grade 2/3: Easy/Medium. Ride distance: 30 km. Park at Lake Tabourie Caravan Park. Follow roads, cycleways and forest tracks to Termeil Point before accessing the highway via Blackbutt Road. Cycle along the highway and Meroo Head Road before taking a rough bush track back to Termeil Point. Blackbutt Road and a short highway section lead to Lemon Tree Forest Road, which is followed back to Tabourie Village and then on to the caravan park. Location: Meroo NP and Termeil SF Limit: 8.
