The walk crosses some long rock flats and climbs to the top of Scopas Peak, providing views spanning right across the park. The walk then continues down to Wondabyne station.  Jointly led by Kevin Cliffe and Esther Chow. No need to contact but email RSVP appreciated. We shall see helps of wild flowers. Take train to Gosford Station. Meet at taxi rank at 10:20am. Share a taxi to Girrakool Picnic Grounds. Bring money (small denominations), snacks, water and lunch. Slippery sections. Creek crossing.

On the return a side track leads out to Brown Mountain Lookout over the coast. Aboriginal rubbings are seen on both tracks. Rough track, unfenced cliff edges, slippery after rain.

Our base is a very comfortable camp cave overlooking Mt Talaterang with water only metres away so you won't need a tent! Rock scrambling and off-track walking in parts.
