Then we have a break to have dinner before we walk in the dark to see the Glowworms. Chinese/Thai/Foodworks/Petrol Station available at Hazelbrook village. You must commit to both day and evening walks before RSVP. Bright headlamp with spare batteries is essential for your safety. If you arrive with no headlamp, you will be turned back. The evening hike will be shortened to ensure we make the last train at 10:35 pm. Steep steps, tree roots, slippery sections. Limit: 8.

This is a trip with 2 sections and both are a waterfall lovers paradise with many falls and pools to explore and savour and if you dont mind the chilly water, a great place for a dip or two! I plan to go as far up these 2 watercourses as I can and in the process we will encounter a hellva lot of waterfalls. Rock scrambling/hopping. Location: Macquarie Pass NP Limit: 15.

  (NEW!!!) Meet at Faulconbridge Station car park. Car share to the start of Faulconbridge Fire trail. Walk 6 km of undulating fire trail, then track down to Grose River 1.5 km. Note one rope (which can be circumnavigated) and one ladder at 45 degrees. A lovely large water hole at the Grose River. Plenty of time for a swim and a rest. Return up track 1.5 km. Take fire trail back to cars 6 km.
Return to either Faulconbridge or other stations dependent on your driver. Total number of walkers is dependent on the number of drivers. When booking please state if a passenger or a driver (with number of car seats available e.g. 1+3 means driver and three passengers). Bring your swimmers. Steep slippery tracks. Deep water. Long ladder. Rope down rock (but is possible to circumnavigate this). Map: Springwood 90304S Limit: 15.

As it will be in the middle of summer and possibly hot, activities will not be set in concrete. However walks from the campsite to Jibbon Beach, Jibbon Head, Aboriginal rock carvings and possibly a litter further on Saturday will be available, and on Sunday, wander across the bridge up to Maianbar. Plenty of opportunity the rest of the day for swimming, kayaking, paddle boards etc and a quiet supper on the beach watching the sun go down. Kayaks can be hired, or bring your own watercraft. PFDs compulsory. Explore the beautiful Cabbage Tree Basin! Small tents are the go. No Taj Mahals. Bookings for Bonnie Vale Camping Ground are essential. Location: Royal National Park Limit: 30.

  (NEW!!!) Bring your own kayak or rent. Book kayaks with leader at least 1x week beforehand. From Bowral Pool we depart at 8:30 am which is one hour earlier than normal departure time. We drive to Safari Kayaking located in Kangaroo Valley arriving around 9’ish where we select our kayaks/canoes and life jackets. Kangaroo Safari will transport our kayaks to Bendeela and the car pool follows on. Once set up and in the water, we head upstream for about 3km to a lunch spot and then make our way back to Bendeela where our boats are returned to Safari Kayaking and we drive back to Bowral. The cost per person for boat hire (TBC). Leader will provided details when established with hire co. Cash payable on the day. Please have the right amount of cash as we need to make a single payment. Cossies, hat, sunscreen and plenty of drinking water will be the go. Mostly still water. Possibility of one short section with quick flow if river is flowing.
