Time for swimming perhaps and visiting Swanhaven Picnic Area. Finish back at the starting point with a picnic lunch or takeaway from the Cuddy Café. Grade: 2/3 Easy paddle. PFD compulsory. I plan to explore this area and the aim of this walk is not to do a long distance but to photograph and enjoy the locations unique rock formations which will keep the group entertained for quite awhile I'm thinking. Rock scrambling and off-track walking.

Hoping it is now open. Walk North Lawson park, turtle steps down to Empire Pass. Explore Lucy's Glen and back to main track. Frederica falls, up fire trail to Queens Road. Track down to Golden Horizons park. Oaklands Road, waterfall track through to and then up Winbourne Road to Hazelbrook Station. Steep, rough, could be slippery whether wet or dry leaves.

An undulating walk with great coastal views. Walking in a northerly direction provides best train options - arrangements to be confirmed closer to the date. Part of the Great South Coast Walk  (http://greatsouthcoastwalk.net/) a long-distance walking route along the southern coastline of New South Wales, from Bundeena on the southern fringe of Sydney, to Mallacoota, just over the border in Victoria, 660km in total. Limit: 12. View

Hazards: Rough track and some steep sections both up and down.

Walk north over bridge turning left into Wakehurst P'way then follow Narrabeen Lagoon trail. Turn right under Wakehurst Pkway to Deep Creek Reserve. Then follow firetrail into Garigal NP and then take track looping around Moon Rock.
Return to Narrabeen .

From Wog Wog campsite we walk along tracks past the amazing Corang Arch, Profile Hill Rock and onto Burrumbeet Brook where a comfortable camp cave awaits us. Then on day 2 we will do a day walk to Mt Cole, 7 Gods pinnacles and the Monolith Valley. On day 3 we will return to Wog Wog via Burrumbeet Brook and the Corang Walking Track. Regrowth on the route.

The original inhabitants of the Canoelands area were the Darug people. The Darug were the custodians of the majority of what is now the Greater Sydney region. They were divided into a number of different 'clans', whose quick demise upon European settlement has sadly resulted in very little information remaining on how they utilised the local area. Hazards: Rough track, slippery rocks and unfenced cliff edges.
