Walk | A bushwalk of any kind short or longFrom Sublime Point Lookout we will make our way along the Illawarra Escarpment Walk & Forest Walk for some magnificent views and the embrace the tall blackbutt-apple shale forest before descending to the Wodi Wodi track to Stanwell Park Railway Station. Note: Car shuffle required. Hazards: Unfenced cliffs. This is a predominantly downhill walk with a steepish 200m descent at the end of the walk as we descend into Stanwell Park.

Steep and slippery with a short section on an overgrown track. Creek crossings.

We will walk from Bells Line of Road along the ridge beside Kamarah Gully and then enter the gully from a shoulder following the foot pad down. Once in the gully the walk follows the stream up into the canyon as it narrows and twists its way through the sandstone to the point where the canyon starts. Next the ridge east of the canyon will be followed to the cliff edges for views over the upper Grose River valley. Return along ridge to foot track from Jungaburra Brook and then to Bells line of road. An additional walk to Dargan Arch, dependent on time available. Navigation practice available to any who wish to try. Wet slippery rocks in canyon. Loose rocks on slopes.

Walk | A bushwalk of any kind short or long(Date Changed) Two separate walks to two peaks in different areas of the beautiful Guula Ngurra NP, with a minor car shuffle. The Mt Penang loop walk follows a pleasant, well-formed track up to the summit of Mt Penang with its panoramic views. The track winds steadily uphill with a short, steep climb at the end. The Baldy Billy Peak walking track is an out-and-back walk to another summit with spectacular views down into the Wollondilly River valley below. After an initial short but very steep descent we cross a pretty, wide valley floor and then start the slow, steady climb to the summit of Baldy Billy Peak and then return along the same route. Steep climbs & descents, uneven surfaces, indistinct track in places, unfenced cliff edges, slippery in places (walking poles recommended).

Of course that's only a short section of this hike as we climb up onto the lofty Illawarra escarpment for stunning coastal views as we make our way to Sublime point for a well earned plate of optional hot chips or anything else that takes your fancy from the cafe there. Before descending down the amazing steel staircase to the valley floor below to catch the train back to Sydney. lots of steps
