Walk | A bushwalk of any kind short or longThis is one of the most spectacular walks you can do in the Blue mountains as the route follows along ledges on the spectacular Banks Wall, passing various beautiful overhangs, grottos and of course you have a million dollar views all along the route, before we ascend via the south end of Mt Banks before ending back at the car park. Rock scrambling and off-track walking.

This is a spectacular area containing pagodas, gullies, cliffs and fabulous views. From the northern side of the Grose Valley you experience a different perspective. Cancelled this walk in April due to weather. Tracks, off-track, steep descent, cliff edges, minor scrambling and a creek crossing. Only a grade 4 due to the off-track sections.

Starting at Pierces pass, we follow the walking track through dense vegetation past Fairy Grotto, continuing down until we reach the river crossing. From here it’s a fairly open track beside the gorgeous Grose river to Blue Gum Forest. Return via the same route. Mountain Devils are flowering and the bush on this descent is simply delightful. Joint walk with the Bushclub. Muddy in parts, can be slippery when wet. Plenty of steps.
