This is a spectacular area containing pagodas, gullies, cliffs and fabulous views. From this side of the Grose Valley you experience a different perspective. Tracks, off-track, steep descent, cliff edges, minor scrambling and a creek crossing. Only a grade 4 due to the off-track sections.

Today we walk the classic Spit to Manly walk that doesn't require introduction.  It is a popular walk through bush with superb water views. It's the time of the year when The Flannel Flowers bloom.  It is always an amazing show at this location.  Pink Flannel Flowers stole the show in summer 2021.  Now is the time to admire the (White) Flannel Flower again. At the end of the walk, the options are plenty: ice cream, fish and chips, coffee, pub, swim Steep and slippery sections View

Never heard of Dangar Island? Join us for a tour to this idyllic island just a hop, skip and a jump from Hawkesbury River Station, Brooklyn. Upon arrival on this car-free oasis of bush, beach and tranquillity, we will be welcomed by tree-lined palms and jacarandas. On the lower grounds we'll walk past the Bowling Club and Bradleys Beach. On the higher grounds we'll get great views of the Hawkesbury River. We'll also walk past a Blackbutt – Rough-barked Apple Forest. Enjoy the scenic train ride across the Hawkesbury River and a joy ferry ride to the island. Enjoy lunch or Devonshire tea at Dangar Island Depot before taking the ferry back home. Bring money for ferry ($8.50 one way adult, $4.30 one way concession (not sure seniors are considered concession)). View

This is an extra day walk to follow the last leg of the Parramatta to Shoalhavens series. As we are staying overnight on Saturday 30th  October to walk the Seven Miles Beach, we will stay another night to do another day of two short walks: The Drawing Room Rocks near Berry and Bomaderry Creek near Nowra. Great views of the NSW south coast. Looking out over Berry, 7 mile beach and Jervis Bay & on a clear day can see pigeon house mountain & the lighthouse at point perpendicular. The climb to the plateau is challenging. Rocky terrain, steep and slippery sections Limit: 10. View
