A circular walk taking in a number of spectacular parts of Little River and including Dobson's Cave. There will be a couple of opportunities for a swim in some gorgeous water holes so bring your cossies. For the weary, the walk can be shortened by 2km by ending at Boundary Rd jnct.
Some off track. A short but steep climb at the end of the walk. Unfenced cliffs. Location: Bargo SCR (Buxton) Map: Picton 9029-4S Bargo 9029-3N Limit: 20.

Put in at the Rabaul Road Boat Ramp in Milperra (at Henry Lawson Drive). It is a narrow concrete ramp with plenty of parking. There are some toilet facilities at the nearby petrol station.
There is an excellent morning tea spot at the sandy Grand Flaneur Beach (next to the Chipping Norton Boat Shed and Sailing Club - approx 3km from the start.
Toilets nearby.Then paddle pass Angle Park and South Park, pass Warwick
Farm racecourse and into Lake Moore. A brief tour around Lake Moore (check
out the Satyam Ghaat from the water and the pelicans and black swans)
before we stop for lunch at Haigh Park (approx 8 km from the start). Haigh
Park has toilets and a picnic area.After lunch, we have an optional extra
leg paddling further up Georges River and into Liverpool, until we reach the
dam wall, just before Newbridge Road and around the same level as the train
station. The return leg for this optional part is about 2.5 km.Then from
Haig Park straight back to Rabaul Road Boat Ramp - approx 7km.In total,
this paddle is 15-16 km long - with an optional extra 2.5 km into Liverpool.

(Fully Booked - Ask leader about waiting list) A circular walk: from Carrington Falls car park we follow Stevo's Track steeply down to the Kangaroo River for lunch. After crossing the river, we climb up the rough track via Missingham Steps and once on top we follow the management trail back to the car park. Steep off-track walking, unfenced edges, slippery rocks, creek/river crossings, bites, stings, wet feet, environmental conditions. From the campground at Beehive Point we will head up Yarrunga Creek for
4km to the head of waters. On the way we will view the magnificent stone
walls of the original Timealong Track road from Kangaroo Valley to Mossvale.
See the old road disappear into the waters of Lake Yarrunga and reappear
further upstream. On return to Beehive Point we can optionally poke around
the numerous inlets for some bonus paddles. Deep water. Few exit points. Exposed in high winds. Approx 100 m of portage
down a road to the launch area. Participants are to provide their own craft
& are required to wear a correctly fitted PFD. Location: Lake Yarrunga - Kangaroo Valley Limit: 12.

 (Fully Booked - Ask leader about waiting list) Traverse a section of Tahmoor Gorge along Bargo River from the bottom of Sally's Pass to the junction of Nepean River. From the junction we will pick our way down the Nepean to Maldon. Will require car shuffle. Partly unexplored so will need to be agile. Possible need to swim/float a section. Some cliffs and slippery rocks. Location: Picton and Bargo & Nepean R Map: PICTON 9029-4-S Limit: 8.

Starting from the Kells Creek car park we head down Kells Creek on a hard to follow track. We then head up to the fire trail and pick up the walking track down to 40' falls for lunch. If time permits, we might tack on an optional 400 m return trip to jnct of Nattai River. Anyone not wishing to do the extension can enjoy a longer break at the waterfall.
NOTE: A planning meeting to lock in the 2026 walks calendar will follow after the walk Rough track, steep sections, slippery rocks and unfenced cliff edges. Location: Mt Alexandra NR Limit: 20.

For the full (23km) trip we will launch from Audley. Those wanting a shorter (17km) paddle will launch from Swallow Rock Reserve, Grays Point. We will make our way down Hacking River and up SW Arms Ck and into the RNP to the head of waters where we will stop for lunch. After lunch we will take a short walk to Winifred Falls for a possible swim before heading back.

9:00 for a 9:30 launch at Wants Beach, (near Reids Flat Picnic Area), Riverside Drv , Audley.
OR
9:15 for 9:45 launch at Swallow Rock Reserve, Grays Point Tidal. Deep water. Possible wake from motorboats.
