Canyon | A trip through a canyon (a gully surrounded by tall cliffs).Cathedral Canyon and the Ravines to the North: From Newnes Campground, walk up Cathedral Canyon to GR 420 276. Continue on the ridge N to a lookout point at around GR 418 285, then investigate a slot at GR 420 281 and another one at GR 422 281. Exit via Petries Gully (there are several options, depending on the timing). Hazards: Exploratory. Scrambling and exposure. Map: Ben Bullen, Mount Morgan
