Walk | A bushwalk of any kind short or longPublic Transport | There are public transport options to and from this activity.This section of the Great North Walk starts from Hornsby Train Station and winds down along the Blue Gum Walk into Fishponds and along Berowra Creek. The walk passes through the Tunks Ridge Reserve and then into Galston Gorge. From here we walk to Hornsby Heights via McKay Firetrail where we will catch a bus to Hornsby. Hazards: Steep and slippery sections. A few creek crossings. Need to watch out for some of the unsteady stepping stones at Galston Gorge
