The Six Foot Track is one of NSW's most iconic and historic walks. Starting at Jenolan Caves, the walk traverses Black Range, descends to the Coxs River, meanders through the Megalong Valley, ascends via Nellies Glen and finishes at Explorers Tree in Katoomba. Black Range and Coxs River campgrounds have large grassy areas and basic facilities. This is a demanding full pack walk for experienced and pack-fit walkers - we will be rewarded with some stunning scenery as well as a sense of our heritage as bushwalkers. There are steep ascents and descents, multiple creek crossings, some exposure whilst crossing the Bowtells Swing Bridge. Joint walk with The Bush Club.
