 Gardens of Stone: In Focus Photographic Competition Walk: Wolgan Gorge Lookout and Birds Rock (Carne Creek Gorge) Lookout. Take part in this exciting event and help save the Gardens of Stone! The Gardens of Stone: In Focus Photographic Competition will give you a rare experience of capturing some of the best of this region through a camera lens. Discover this wonderland and have a chance to exhibit your photographs in an exhibition at a prestigious venue in Sydney. This specially designed photography walk will take you to two iconic locations - Wolgan Gorge Lookout and Birds Rock (Carne Creek Gorge) Lookout. It features views, cliffs, pagodas, and forest. Part 1 - Wolgan Gorge Lookout: Distance: +/- 2km; ascent/descent: +/- 60m. Part 2 - Birds Rock Lookout: Distance: +/- 600m; ascent/descent: +/- 60m. Most of the walk is off-track.
