Walk | A bushwalk of any kind short or longCafe | A trip that involves a relaxed stop at a cafe.First time friendly | A trip that is perfect for most new members (assuming you have a reasonable level of fitness)Public Transport | There are public transport options to and from this activity.The "neighbourhood series" will be led by walkers who live in the vicinity of where they live. Today we explore the Cook Rivers. Meet at Canterbury station and walk via the Cooks River path to Tempe and back to Hurlstone Park. See how the hard work of local community organisations and local councils is bringing this once heavily polluted waterway back to life. Walk is all on paved paths. Option to bring lunch or buy it from Lynne’s favourite cafe/bakery in Hurlstone Park after the walk. Leader will be Lynne Hewitt.
