This lovely cooler walk will be led by Les Heitter, but bookings to John Hain, please. We will meet at the Narrabeen B Line bus stop on Pittwater Road, just past the Tramshed Cafe (with an old Sydney tram parked outside). The walk will do a circuit right around Narrabeen Lake including along the beach to where it empties into the ocean. The lake is home to many sea birds, black swans and some aggressive Kookaburras who delight in stealing your food. The walk will take up past the Sydney Academy of Sport, Cromer Golf Course, Jamieson Park and many beautiful lakeside spots. Booking essential giving your NPA, phone and emergency numbers, unless I already have them. Hazards: Bike riders as well as some road and beach (sand) walking. It may be necessary to wade through water flowing out of the lake at the beach, if it has been raining. Location: Northern Beaches Sydney Map: Mona Vale 91301S Limit:20. T:
