Walk | A bushwalk of any kind short or longMystery Mountain dominates the skyline from the Newnes area and is a mountain certainly worth climbing! There is a rough track after crossing the Wolgan River that takes you to the base of the cliff line followed by an amazing cliffline traverse that goes for almost 1500 metres, south towards Zobels Point. Then a climb up onto the plateau where there will be time to explore the photgraphic opportunites amongst the pagodas. After that a descent down a gully will take us onto the the Wolgan River Trail back to our cars. Hazards: Rock scrambling and some off-track walking.
