Walk | A bushwalk of any kind short or longFully Vaccinated | All participants must be able to show proof they are fully vaccinated against COVID-19 to particpate.An out and back walk from Kings Tableland Rd to Lions Head before descending to the floor of Kedumba Valley via Lions Pass. We will visit the refurbished Kedumba Farm slab hut before inspecting the ruins and lunching at Kedumba Campground in the lee of Mt. Solitary. We then retrace our steps back to the cars. There is a change in altitude of 500m on this walk but you only really notice the 150m descent and ascent of Lions Pass. Should be still plenty of flowers around and of course the views are to die for. Joint walk with Upper Blue Mtns Bush Club. Walk may be cancelled at short notice if weather is unfavourable. Cars are needed to get to the start of the walk. Contact leader if you need transport. Hazards: Walkers should be adept with gully scrambling which will be required in the Pass. Gaiters recommended.
