Walk | A bushwalk of any kind short or longPublic Transport | There are public transport options to and from this activity.(NEW!!!) Meet at Katoomba station. If insufficient cars, get on 686 bus to Katoomba Falls Reserve. Walk down Furbar steps to Federal Pass track and Ruin Castle. Walk back up Golden Stairs, Narrow Neck Lookout to Katoomba Falls Reserve and return to the station by car or take bus 686 to Katoomba Station. Hazards: Steep and slippery sections, landslides, trees/branches across track.
