  This walk takes in some of the most stunning sections of Kangaroo creek downstream of Karloo pools where there is a ton of inviting swimming pools to keep you cool when the Summer sun is beating down. I plan to stop and have a swim in many of these along the way down this pristine watercourse. The walk out of Kangaroo creek is via a shady forested ridge track back to Heathcote station.
