We start from Circular Quay and walk around the Opera House to the Royal Botanical Gardens. If you are lucky, we will see the seal on the foreshore. Spring is a wonderful time to visit the Gardens when Rock orchids are in bloom. Paper daisies, tulips, and other flowers are also in bloom. The Calyx is alive with exhibition and colours. Visit the herb gardens and the ponds. At 11:30 am, we will join the Government House tour to see its spendour with modern and old world decorations. See the magnificent modern carpet recreation of the original from 200 years ago. The dining room is flooded with light and warmth from the sun. Learn about the architecture and the history from the tour guide. See two very Grand pianos. The ornate windows all have lovely views of the garden. The tour ends at the garden of the Government house. We will walk around the beautiful garden before heading back to Circular Quay via the sculptures and the footbridge. Please rsvp by 1 September so that I can book you in the tour T: From: 4 Sep 2022, 9:30AM |
