  No RSVP required. To avoid the crowd in Rhododendron Festival on the first Saturday of November, we will visit Blackheath for it's wonderful display of Rhododendrons and Azaleas. I have also noticed in the previous years, rhododendrons bloom much earlier than the official Rhododendron Festival date. Start with a coffee in one of Blackheath's fabulous cafes. Visit
Campbell Rhododendron Gardens. Have lunch in one of the many places in blackheath or bring your own.
