Walk | A bushwalk of any kind short or longPhotography | A trip that has a strong focus on encouraging people to capture photographs.Public Transport | There are public transport options to and from this activity.(NEW!!!) This walk is a real favourite and a great adventure. It has spectacular coastal views and gorgeous coastal heath bushland to walk through. Though shown as a grade 4, because of the push through bushes to get to the rock platform and a bit of a scramble up an eroded track, most of the walk would be grade 2. Starting at Bundeena we walk along the beach and tracks to Jibbon Head, visiting the Aboriginal engravings on the way. We will mostly walk along the rock platform towards the Balconies where we join the coastal track back to Bundeena. There is a steep climb from the last beach up to the headland along an eroded track that requires a bit of a scramble. Booking essential giving your mobile, emergency contact and NPA numbers unless I already have them. Hazards: It could be slippery and possibly slushy in places. Uneven rock surfaces. It is exposed and a more inland route, through sandhills could be taken if the weather is unsuitable for the coastal route. Some street walking in Bundeena.
