Blue Mountains National Park: Dargans Arch and Upper Wollangambe. This is an opportunity to see Dargans Arch, an amazing natural feature, and then come down to the Wollangambe, in order to inspect first hand the state of the river after the Centennial Coal contamination incident in July this year. Park at GR 457 914 off Sandham Road and descend a ridge to Dargans Arch. After inspecting it, drop into a Tributary Creek and follow it through a beautiful tight gorge to the junction with the Wollangambe River. We will follow the river upstream before taking a ridge to exit back to the vehicles. Wet feet and likely more.
