Birdwood Gully Walk: It  is  a beautiful short round trip walk that showcases the rainforest environment on the valleys of the Blue Mountains. Easy access, some steep steps, overhangs, footbridges over streams, lyre birds, ferns and great atmosphere. Bookings only from two weeks before the walk please. Hazards: Rocky steps, slippery, wet sections on track.

Take the 8:48 train from Central (cars 2-8) arriving Springwood at 9:59 am. This train does not stop at Strathfield, the leader will join at Parramatta. Meet on platform at Springwood.
