Birdwood Gully Walk: It  is  a beautiful short round trip walk that showcases the rainforest environment on the valleys of the Blue Mountains. Easy access, some steep steps, overhangs, footbridges over streams, lyre birds, ferns and great atmosphere. Bookings only from two weeks before the walk please. Hazards: Rocky steps, slippery, wet sections on track.

Take the 8.55am train from Central (cars 2-8) arriving Springwood at 10.13am. The leader will join the train at Strathfield. Meet on platform at Springwood.
