  (Nearly fully booked) The "neighbourhood series" will be led by walkers who live in the vicinity of where they live. Today we walk from Rushcutters Bay to Kings Cross, via Botanical Gardens. Leader is Fiona Thompson. As Covid restriction limits the no of visitors to 5, she cannot host afternoon tea at her Darlinghurst Home after the walk. Instead she has made booking at Cruising Yacht Club of Australia ( home of Sydney to Hobart race) for lunch. Please state if you will join the optional lunch. This walk will replace the annual Australia Day walk I host each year.
Points of interest: Botanic Gardens :Beare Park ; McElhone Reserve; Navy docks; finger wharf ; Hyde Park, calyx, Herb Gardens, Koala bears, Rose Gardens, Water Lilies; Farm Cove, Lady Macquarie Chair, Government House, Conservatorium of Music; The Mint, State Library, Opera House.
