|Flying Fox accessed by a fire trail has the remains of the flying fox used to bring timber up from the valley. The walk then returns to the Cooks Nose Lookout a wonderful lunch spot. On the edge of the escarpment there are spectacular views. Rough track often wet, muddy and slippery, unfenced lookout.

|Bonnum Pic is a spectacular peak which rises above the Wollondilly River, but on this trip we will approach it without a big climb by following the rocky Escarpment Route which is a wonderful skyline traverse and hopefully the flowers will be out in force. Last time we didn't quite make it to the end so I'm hoping to do better this time! Rock scrambling.

|This is Part 3 of a 60 km, four-day walk, circling Sydney Harbour with the Sydney Harbour and Gladesville Bridges as its eastern and western points. This walk is co-led by Kevin Cliffe, Geoffrey Lee and Esther Chow. No need to contact but email rsvp is appreciated. This is a magnificent walk focusing on the harbour itself – the expanse of water, the bridges, islands, urban bushland and city skyline. The route winds along parts of the foreshore, into bays and on to headlands, through bush, along historic streets and over grand bridges.
Part 3 starts from Huntleys Point Wharf and finishes at Balmain East Wharf. Bring water, snacks and lunch. Some slippery sections.

|(Leader Changed) This walk is along the first part of the Bonnum Pic Track. Leaving the fire trail there are a couple of steep gullies to negotiate before joining an old fire trail and then a bush track leading to the escarpment. Wild flowers are prolific and the view spectacular. Steep rough track slippery creek crossing, fallen trees, unfenced cliff edges.

|Meet at 9am at the Parkes Lions Park. Medium, 6 kilometres. Leader: Martin Bell (TBC) or Peter Cannon.
