Come and see the world’s tallest Spotted Gum. Grade: 2/3 Distance: 3-4km.
From Termeil we will drive on the old Highway and Middle Ridge Forest roads to park in a forest clearing. The walk is along remote forest roads and a short but steep bush track to commune with Big Spotty (a magnificent old Spotted Gum recently threatened by proposed logging in the surrounding state forest). Return to the cars via the same route. Coffee afterwards at Lucy’s Café, Bawley Point. Limit: 12.

(NEW!!!) (Updated Details) I'm cancelling Devil's Hole as I think it will be too slippery and dangerous.
Alternative: From Wentworth Falls (train arrives 09:15) walk to the Conservation Hut. Then the undercliff and overcliff tracks to WWF. Return via Darwin's walk.

Follow upstream along indistinct paths either side of Kangaroo Creek crossing it several times. Creek levels depend on recent rains so be prepared for wet feet. Along Bottle Forest Track to the Olympic Pool, a chance for a cool dip in this large natural pool. Continuing onto Karloo Pool and Karloo Track to Heathcote Station. A remote and peaceful walk in the natural beauty of Royal NP. Hazards: Creeking crossing, rock hopping and offtrack bush. Offtrack,creek crossing and rock scrambling. Limit: 15.

A mainly downhill walk from lower Durras Mountain to Kioloa.
Following a short car shuffle, we will walk a fire trail onto the lower reaches of Durras Mountain, then descend via walking track to Pretty Beach. We can visit the singing stones and return to Pretty Beach for morning tea. Afterwards we will continue north to Merry Beach via Snapper Point and on to the marine rescue station at Kioloa for lunch. We conclude with an easy stroll along Kioloa Beach to return to the vehicles for afternoon tea. Some sand walking and rock platforms.Location: Murramarang NP Limit: 20. View |

Turn off into Colosseum Track, crossing a section where there had been a landslide and there is no track. Rejoin the track after the landslide and walk to the end of the track to the beautiful rock face that looks like the Colosseum. Walk around and down off track, join the Valley Farm Track, get back to Tuckers Lookout and back to the station. Steep and slippery sections.
