Branch |
| NPA NSW Office |
(NEW!!!) Join leading conservation scientist James Watson, University of Queensland, for an inspiring presentation, exploring why protecting NSW’s land, rivers and oceans is critical for the future of nature and people. From healthy forests and farms, to free-flowing rivers to thriving marine sanctuaries, this inspiring talk will unpack how protected areas safeguard biodiversity, strengthen climate resilience, secure clean water, support fisheries and farming, and preserve the wild places that define our state.
Our speaker will outline why this decade is a once-in-a-generation chance to build a connected network of protected areas across NSW — and why the decisions we make now will shape the future of our natural world for generations to come.
