Following the guidebook published with the recent Walking Upstream exhibition at Wollongong Art Gallery, we explore some of our myriad and complex waterways. The creeks are often on private land or they disappear into pipes, so we follow them as far as we can. We walk on streets, pathways and through public land. We begin by following Towradgi Creek from its mouth through Tarrawanna to the escarpment. Hazards: May involve creek crossings and untracked sections. Limit:8.
