Accommodation | An activity that involves an overnight stay, using hard-roofed accommodation such as a cabin, hut or hotel.Walk | A bushwalk of any kind short or long(Nearly fully booked) Co-leader: Ewan Cain.  We walk 100km from Apollo Bay to The Twelve Apostles of the Great Ocean Walk in Victoria. It would involve driving to Apollo Bay to start walk. Total walking days are 7 . Total nights of accommodation are 10.  This would require 1 night of accommodation between Sydney and Apollo Bay before the walk and 1 night after the walk. We will be staying at Bimbi Park which offers Cabins, on site vans, camping pods, powered and unpowered sites.  If you were considering  staying in a tent, please be aware that the condition of GOW is unpredictable and can be extremely windy.  Transport to start of day walks will involve car shuffles.  Distance of day walks vary between 12 to 18 km but they do not involve difficult terrains and the daily accumulated elevation is no more than 600m. This GOW walk is back to back to a 7 day Grampians walk.  You have the option to extend to the additional full week or to the number of preferred days.  See different posting. When you enquire, please send your walking history and whether you can share your vehicle with others. Self catering. You are free to take rest days, but may have to help with car shuffle. A certificate of completion will be awarded to those who complete the whole 100km. View Esther's future walks Future walk 2 Steep and slippery sections. Very windy condition at times.

Hi Esther, I’m now booked it. I had to do it over the phone as the internet booking only allowed a four pod booking.

    Hi

I would love to do this trip – I am very new to the club so not sure whether I am eligible being a resident of Sydney (ie north). I ave done most of the big hikes around Australia (ie Larapinta, SW Track Tasmania).
Please let me know and will complete registration. Thanks
