From Neates Glen after sunset we will descend into the world of the night creatures and walk through the Grand Canyon, exiting at Evans Lookout Track. The prime reason for doing this walk is to see the amazing displays of glow worms which leave the colony in the Glowworm tunnel for dead with their brightness and sheer numbers. Plus we might see possums, gliders, the odd frog and experience this world heritage walk in a completely different way. People doing this walk are encouraged to do the walk to Mt Victoria beforehand and to stay in the mountains to avoid the long drive home. Hazards: Care is needed walking in the dark and a good torch is essential.
