Cockatoo Island is a source of intrigue and inspiration for visitors owing to its heritage buildings, distinctive terrain and panoramic views. Popular attractions include heritage and campground accommodationwaterfront cafés and picnic spots. We meet at Cockatoo Island wharf at 10:15 am. There are some steep stairs. A rough estimate of length is 5 km, including a walk to a pub in Balmain for lunch after catching a ferry from Cockatoo Island to Balmain after touring the island. Please advise if you will be having lunch with us on RSVP. Hazards: Steep and slippery sections
