Grade:3/6 Length 12km  400m Sydney Branch
Walk | A bushwalk of any kind short or long(Fully Booked) Co-Leader : Ewan Cain. The track leads off to the south from the Bell's Line of Road between Mount Tomah and the Mount Wilson turn-off, and there is a sign indicating Mount Banks. You can park at the end of the road. Walk out to the lookout and return over the top. This is a lovely walk and not too difficult. There are superb views of the Grose Valley at the lookout and wonderful northern views as you come down off Mount Banks. There are many wildflowers at this time of the year. Last year, I saw many wildflowers including Waratahs, Sun orchids, Pea flowers, Bororia, Flannel flowers, native iris, white grevilleas and otheres.  If time allows, we'll visit Mount Tomah to see the beautiful waratahs and proteas on the way back.
