 (Postponed) Walk from the top of Macquarie Pass near Mt Murray down through a gap in the escarpment then down a series of old trails and a service road to the bottom of Macquarie Pass. Hazards: Steep, rough, uneven ground, overgrown tracks, tree fall, often off-track. Illawarra Highway is crossed a number of times. This is all downhill.
